There are vast components, large and small, that make up a 21st century classroom. Here are a few that resonated the most strongly with me:
- Teachers as facilitators
- Frequent feedback from teacher and peers
- N.E.W. Products
What this looks like for educators
Linda Darling-Hammond has a great deal to say about what our education system should look like, in order to provide equity and create 21st century learning environments. Again, her recommendations are numerous, but here are three that stood out to me:
- Better teacher preparation
- Re-organization of schools
- Time, time, time for teachers.
